We look forward to welcoming back our students and staff who are returning from their skiing adventure in the Alps. They look as if they’ve had the time of their lives and had an amazing adventure. In a few weeks we will be waving off others who are off to New York. I personally have never visited either of these places and I feel so very proud of the staff here who organise these trips, which not only enhance the curriculum, bringing it to life, but broaden the horizons and dreams of the future for our children.

For those of us back in school, we have all settled down quickly following the Christmas break with business as usual.

It was a pleasure to see so many parents and carers attending the Year 9 parents’ evening and I know for many of you a chance to take a quick look at our new school. Most of the teething problems are now resolved and I look forward to sharing updates in the next few weeks regarding Phase 2, which is the demolition of the old school and development of the outside areas.

Have a happy and enjoyable weekend.

Best wishes

Joy
