Thank you to all the parents who completed the parent view surveys. We really appreciate your feedback and will publish the results soon. We are currently doing a similar survey with all the students. Well done to the parents of Monarch House students who earned 320 points. Emperor received 270, Admiral got 250 and Brimstone earned 210 points.

Jonathan de' Sausmarez, a national leader of Education, visited the Academy in his role as Regional Director for AET to check on our progress. He was again impressed with how hard the students were working and the progress they are making.

Students who are sitting exams on 10 June (INSET Day) will not be able to use the school bus or their passes. Please make alternative arrangements if you can but if this isn’t possible please contact us and we will find a way to get them in for their exams.

It was great to meet Rick Jackson, DJ from Wave FM, on Wednesday. He came in to meet with our Ryde Radio students and talk to them about running a radio station. He was brilliant and gave them lots of tips and advice.

I am looking forward to ‘Ryde Academy has got talent’ on Thursday 26 May. More information about the event can be found in this Newsletter.

Good luck to anyone who is taking part in Walk the Wight. We would love to hear from any of the students taking part so let us know how you get on.

Have a nice weekend.
