Futures Fortnight has begun and our 6th Formers have been working in a variety of organisations all over the Island including Wight Media Services, Cats Protection and A R Ball Engineering. You can see some of the photos in the Newsletter.
Well done to Kaitlyn Croxall, Year 12, who did her work experience with us and produced this week's Newsletter. I think she has done a great job!
Kaitlyn was also given the opportunity to visit the site of the new school and took the photos on the front page of the Newsletter.
Year 11s were able to spend some time at the 6th Form centre experiencing lessons and visiting the careers fair which included stands from the NHS, universities and the Armed Forces as well as many more, again Kaitlyn was there to cover it!
Our Year 9 options evening was well attended and I hope parents and students received all the information needed to make their choices. Please contact your tutor, Mr Merrett, Vice Principal, or Mr Watt, Year Manager, if you have any further questions. Your choices need to be submitted by Friday 3rd March.
I am looking forward to the X Factor performance and am delighted that I have been asked to judge again this year. I was so proud of the talent on show last year.
Have a nice weekend.
