6th Form Taster Days

We held our 6th Form taster days at the beginning of July. This gave students starting in September a chance to come and try out A Level and vocational lessons. There were a range of different subjects on offer alongside the opportunity to visit our sister Academy at Sandown to experience lessons offered through the East Wight collaboration.

We received lots of positive feedback from the students.

"I found out what it was like at 6th form and the experience has reinforced my choices."

" I now have a better understanding of the subjects I chose to try and enjoy them. I may not have chosen the subjects if it wasn't for the taster days."

Students who attended the taster days also had the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities on Wednesday afternoon. We would like to extend our thanks to the Military Preparation College and the Ryde Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for leading the activities for us.
